rECIPROCATE
just a little something.
Friday, 27 November 2009 6:26 PM

I'm going to ignore a lot of things including unwanted visitors to my blog. I can block them if I want to, but hey, this is a free country and I won't curb your freedom. But really, if you have any serious issues with me, or my friends, please be known that I am human and that you get in my nerves sometimes.

I can't recall a lot of bad things I did, but if you're one of the people I've hurt, I've did wrong things, I really am sorry. If you think apology isn't enough, then I'll try to mend it but you don't have to go around my blog saying things like this. But if you're just a random somebody whose motive isn't explicit, then please, I kindly ask you to leave.

And yeah, please don't try to provoke my religiosity and spirituality. That, my friend, is a bad bad thing for you to poke at.

So please, spare me your drama. It saves my time and yours. Thank you :)

muggers, unite.

Been mugging for almost two weeks, now. Exams are still not over. The smell of freedom, liberation, emancipation is still far. TUESDAY. PLEASE. COME. QUICK. I. AM. CRASHINGG.

I was so busy trying to study and I didn't realize that tomorrow is Eid! Hahahaa look at what the books had done to me. And it's scarier when I told mom not to spend too much time at nenek's house tomorrow coz I wanna continue mugging. Like, "eh did i really say that???" I'm not a mugger originally, until now.

Thanks to my mugging partner Nadiah! She's kind enough to mug with me. We were stuck at Woodlands Library since 11am till 8:30pm. But mugging is fun when you have energy foods (Maltesers, Twix bars, etc.) so they can perk your mugging session effectively. Though at times, I admit I got sleepy, like very sleepy.

Anyway here's something I wanna share! Taken off from my Tumblr. :)

A human tide of Hajj pilgrims chant the words ”Here I am in answer to Thy call, Lord, here I am. There is no other God but Thee. Praise be unto Thee.”

The pilgrimage!

My parents are dying to go; but we don’t have enough funds to do so for the whole family. So, mom’s waiting for me to finish my studies, work, so that we can all go together.

I went there (but not for the Hajj pilgrimage) ages ago and I couldn’t recall much, but it was inspiring. I may not be 100% religious, but I admit I am spiritual. Here, in this pilgrimage, your spirituality will take you to the highest level. I didn’t believe in the “miracle” and “punishment”, until I was there.

I was “punished” for being rude to my mother during one of the obligatory prayers. As a result, I got lost in the stream of humans, my mother not in sight. AT ALL. Like she suddenly poofed into thin air. Realizing my mistake, I was desperate for my mother, prayed and prayed like maaaad (I was 8, so all I did was, “OH GOD PLEASE MAKE MOM APPEAR!”) and after what felt like eons of searching, there my mother was, crying, because she lost her small daughter.

It’s pretty scary sometimes how things turn out. But nonetheless, I personally want to go for the pilgrimage someday, when I am physically, mentally, emotionally AND spiritually ready. It takes a lot of courage to do this.

My time will come. :) Have a blessed Eid!

2010
Friday, 20 November 2009 8:33 AM

You know I really can't be bothered about the 2012 hype. Enough with my Physics talking about the Big Crunch (the universe is going on a positive curvature; expanding finitely and reaches the end) and now this! I think people are obsessed about the world coming to an end.

So what's with 2010? Me going to third year (hopefullyyy...), and perhaps starting my first adventure in life! I might be away from Singapore for quite some time, though as of now, it has yet to be confirmed. when there's money, you can confirm anything. When money is the root of the problem, it's always "yet to be confirmed". Nonetheless, whatever it is, 2010 smells like adventure and new things. But one thing is that, a small part of me is reluctant to go. Like really, really reluctant.

Well, of course you're supposed to feel that when you are to live in a foreign land for a year. Who doesn't.
